Woman's death in Davis County burned car ruled suicide

DAVIS COUNTY, Iowa -  The Iowa State Medical Examiner says a woman, whose body was found in a burned car in Davis County in January, died of probable smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.   

The cause of death has been ruled suicide.     

The remains of 63-year-old Sharon Moritz were found in her  car  in rural Davis County January 27th.   A farmer spotted the burning car and called 9-1-1.  Moritz was from Northwood, Iowa, but also had  family from Davis County.
