FORT DODGE, Iowa- Fort Dodge Police have arrested a 26-year-old Fort Dodge man in a counterfeit money case. Reno Anderson is charged with Forgery, Theft, Falsifying a Public Document, and Drug Possession.
Anderson was taken to the Webster County Jail, and made an initial court appearance.
Police had taken several reports this spring about phony bills being passed at a number of local businesses, typically $20 or $50 fake bills.
Fort Dodge Police say the investigation continues, and anyone who might have information in the case is asked to contact them or CrimeStoppers at 515-573-1444.
