DES MOINES, Iowa - Police say a man kicked the the door of a house on Ingersoll Avenue early Monday morning and kidnapped a woman.
Twenty-eight-year-old Samuel Lee Tucker is accused of carrying the woman out of the house, while she struggled to get free, and put her in the back of his car and drove away.
A 911 call came in just after 5:30 a.m. The caller told Police Dispatch that Tucker is known to carry a gun.
Police say they found him in his black Chrysler car near 9th and Indiana, with the woman still inside. Officers arrested Tucker, and rescued the woman.
Tucker is being held in the Polk County jail, charged with first degree burglary and false imprisonment.
