Fill the Mayflower is an event where you can bring your slightly used household items to help abused women and their kids get a new start. Trisha Barton of Valley West Mall, Harry Swanson of The FreeStore and Catherine Reaman-Gerdes of Children and Families of Iowa joined us in the studio to talk about the Fill The Mayflower event tomorrow from 8AM-5PM in the parking lot of Valley West Mall. There will be a big Mayflower Select Van and Storage truck that will be taking donations of small household items, twin beds and mattresses, microwaves, coffee makers, pots and pans and more.
