The fourth (and final) season of the comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will premiere on Netflix on May 30. In an unusual move for the streaming service, you won't be able to stream the entire series in one sitting! Part two of season four will consist of seven episodes - but Netflix is yet to reveal when those final episodes will premiere.
And I DO mean final episodes - this report suggests that season four will be the final season for the comedy and that Netflix may wrap up the show with a movie.
The first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was one of the funniest seasons of television comedy I've ever seen. I remember insisting on sharing the show with family and friends repeatedly.
If you've not seen it, the first two episodes of the show are the set-up and the jokes come a bit more slowly than you might imagine. Because the show has been created by Tina Fey, the third show begins the rapid-fire comedy for which 30 Rock was famous and the remaining shows feature non-stop hilarity.
I don't think the following seasons were as funny as season one - but VERY FEW shows have been as funny as season one. I still enjoy the show and am looking forward to season four.
