FORT DODGE, Iowa – Authorities in Fort Dodge are investigating the discovery of a decomposed body, found Tuesday night in a metal shed.
Fort Dodge Police say a neighbor, looking into a suspicious odor, found the body at 1216 1st Avenue North. Police say the subject's name and manner of death are unknown. The Fort Dodge Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate this case.
An autopsy on the remains will be performed by the State Medical Examiner's Office.
