Waukee Police Chief John Quinn asked to spend some time with Van and Bonnie in the WHO Radio studio...we were a little nervous, but it all turned out okay! It turns out that the Waukee Police Department is introducing "Bike With Cops", a new annual bike ride event for kids in the Waukee Community School District. Kids in grades 2-6 can enjoy a safety talk, two-mile bike ride and lunch with Waukee police officers. It's this Saturday, May 26th from 10:30AM-Noon. The cost is $15 per child. This ride is for experienced riders only...no training wheels and helmets are required. Hear the entire interview here...
