SAYLORVILLE LAKE- Saylorville Lake north of Des Moines 's will likely be busy this Memorial Day weekend.
.Jeff Rose of the Army Corps of Engineers tells WHO Radio News has some words of caution, the lake level is more than 15-feet higher than normal. He warns boaters there's the potential for floating debris in the water, sometimes just beneath the surface of the water
Both beach areas are closed, and the Lower Cherry Glen Boat Ramp parking lot is also closed because of high water.
Rose says boaters should plan on getting there early, because parking may be limited.
He says the Memorial Day campers have been moving in, and campgrounds will be booked this weekend.
