DES MOINES, Iowa- High winds yesterday caused damage at Principal Park in Des Moines.
Wind snapped off the right field, foul post and blew a picnic table about 20-feet into the stands.
Wind also damaged signs along the outfield and ripped away some tarps, allowing heavy rain to damage the the playing field.
Today's high school games were postponed. Damage is expected to be fixed before the Iowa Cubs return home next Tuesday.
