Sometimes, the basics taste just as good

One thing Andy enjoys is cooking meat to perfection on his smoker, but sometimes it's the basics that sound good.  Hence a Sunday evening traditional breakfast meal which utilize a wide variety of ag products produced in the state:


It's starts pretty simple with some toasted Texas Toast, then:


Add some dairy, Iowa-produced cheese plus:

Bfast 3

Locally-smoked produced bacon and farm-fresh brown eggs, and finally:


Hashbrowns cooked to perfection in a cast-iron skilled handed down through the generations.  The finished product:

Heaven on a plate...or pretty close.  If Andy ever invited you to enjoy his cooking it looks like you may want to take him up on it.
