If you saw the movie "Suicide Squad" back in 2016, one of the big takeaways is the odd way that Jared Leto portrayed The Joker. Well that character is going to be getting his own movie from Warner Brothers.
The Joker is a character that has been played by many actors over the years. The best known versions include Heath Ledger's version in the mid-2000s in the Christian Bale Batman movies and Jack Nicholson in the late 1980s.
Leto definitely put his own spin on the character in "Suicide Squad" and apparently the buzz of that appearance has warranted a stand alone film.
No details have been given on the story of the movie as of yet, so we'll keep our eyes and ears open for that.
