The salad emoji from Google has no egg anymore after a recent change and for some reason, plenty of people are angry about it.
My first thought is that it's really hard to notice when I look at it on my phone, but people have definitely noticed the change.
The change was made apparently to make a more "inclusive vegan salad" but it was later explained as a change to make it comply with Unicode Consortium's actual description of a salad. That definition is "a bowl of healthy salad, containing lettuce, tomato, and other salad items such as cucumber."
I'm still trying to see the difference.
