A 45 year old Des Moines man's in the Polk County Jail for raping a 74 year old woman at a senior housing complex last month.
Lonnie Jackson is in the Polk County Jail. He's charged with 3rd degree sexual abuse, robbery, theft and 14 counts of unauthorized use of a credit card.
Police say the assault happened May 7th at The Rose of East Des Moines at 1331 Idaho Street.
The victim told police Jackson, who the woman knew as a boyfriend of another person at the complex, knocked on the door asking for money and forced his way in.
Later the victim said Jackson had taken her car keys and purse.
Police contend Jackson stole her car and made purchases using her credit cards.
