A man, attempting to burgle a south Des Moines business was shot and killed by an employee, according to Police.
Sgt. Paul Parezik tells WHO Radio News it appears the man had been there for some time prior to being discovered by the employee - perhaps the owner - of Kraft Imports on Army Post Road, just after 7am.
He adds, the burglar was driving a stolen truck and may have disabled the alarm.
