Motorcyclist arrested after Dallas County, Iowa chase

DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa-  The Dallas County Sheriff's Office says man on a motorcycle led them on a high speed chase yesterday (Tuesday) on Highway 6.

Authorities say the motorcyclist was spotted driving erratically west of Waukee around 2:45 p.m. 

The Sheriff's Office says Deputies tried pull him over, but he refused to stop, and sped through Adel, and onto Redfield, where he lost  control in a gravel parking lot by the Redfield Co-op,  and was arrested without incident.

Nineteen-year-old Chase Knowles was taken to the Dallas County Jail, he's been charged with Eluding, Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, Unsafe Passing, Speeding (Work Zone), and several other traffic charges.

Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety bond.
