DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa- The Dallas County Sheriff's Office says a Nebraska man was killed in a motorcycle crash. The Sheriff's Office says the motorcycle and rider were spotted in a cornfield yesterday (Sunday) afternoon on Highway 6, between Dexter and Redfield, near Bear Creek Road.
The man killed has been identified as 29-year-old Austin Welke of Nebraska. Authorities say he'd been staying in Redfield on a work assignment. He'd been missing since last Friday, July 20th.
