One of the things I love about WHO Radio is that the management has always given me a lot of rope to try new things on the air and bring in exceptional people to be on the air with me. When Bonnie vacations that opens up new possibilities for people I ask to fill in for her with me for four hours on the air. Today was a classic example. Who would have ever thought that the Adjutant General of the National Guard would be my co-host for four hours? Major General Timothy Orr is that man. I’ve interviewed him a few times in the past and he listens to our show each day, but I’d never spent a lot of personal time with him like we did on the air this morning. What an exceptional guy. You folks that heard it could tell exactly why he has the position that he has. And he did such a good job of bringing it down to earth and communicating so many facets of things that affect us all! Thanks Major General Orr!
