DES MOINES, Iowa- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds says her husband, Kevin is doing well after an emergency appendectomy early this (Tuesday) morning.
Governor Reynolds says her husband did not feel well yesterday, and steadily got worse last evening after a dinner they hosted at Terrace Hill, so they went to a Des Moines hospital.
Reynolds says her husband's appendix had not ruptured, so they were lucky. The Governor, who spent the night at the hospital with her husband, says he should be discharged from the hospital tonight, and will have to take it easy for a week.
Governor Reynolds spoke to Channel 13 WHO-TV's Dave Price, at the Iowa State Fair.
