Three killed, two injured in western Iowa crash

HARRISON COUNTY, Iowa-  Three people died, and two others were injured after a crash early Sunday night on I-29 near Little Sioux in Harrison County.

The Iowa State Patrol says a car, driven by 80-year-old Richard Van Zee of Rock Valley was northbound, when it went off the road, and into the southbound lanes, where it hit two vehicles around 6:20 p.m. Sunday.    

Van Zee and 77-year-old Mary Ann Van Zee died at a local hospital.  Sixty-five-year-old Elizabeth Cobbs of Knightstown, Indiana also died after the crash.   Michael and Melinda Gerrish, both of Shirley, Indiana were injured.
