Authorities visit Molly Tibbetts murder suspect's employer

POWESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa-  Federal, state and local agents today were at the Poweshiek County farm that employed the man accused of killing Mollie Tibbetts.    

Twenty-four-year-old Cristhian Rivera worked at Yarrabee Farms near Brooklyn for several years. The farm's owners say they knew him by a different name.  Officials say he was living in the U.S. illegally.

Yarrabee Farms issued a statement about the law enforcement presence, saying it was a scheduled visit and that authorities had asked to visit the farm, and meet with employees and owners.    

Rivera is charged with First Degree murder in the death Tibbetts, who disappeared while jogging on July 18th. Rivera led authorities to Mollie’s body, which was hidden in a cornfield on August 21st.
