The new U.S. News and World Report college rankings are out, with two Iowa schools making the national list.
Of the 312 schools on the national list, the University of Iowa ranks 89th and Iowa State University is 119th.

On the list of the best public colleges in America, the University of Iowa comes in as 38th out of 132 colleges, seven spots lower than last year. Iowa State University is down three spots on the best public colleges list, to number 53 this year.
Some of the areas of decline include class sizes, and graduation rates.
