Chris Burch of the Des Moines Marathon joined Van and Bonnie in the WHO Radio studio to promote a new event called the IMT Des Moines Monument Mile! Proceeds go toward the restoration of the 40 monuments on the Iowa State Capitol grounds. The party starts at Cowles Commons on September 20th at 5:30PM and then the D-Line free transportation to the Iowa State Capitol for the one-mile run from the Capitol back down to Cowles Commons.
