DES MOINES, Iowa - A serious, single vehicle crash at SE 14th and Bloomfield send two people to the hospital.
WHO Radio Traffic Director Jim Brown reports from the traffic center that one adult and one child were taken to the hospital.
UPDATE 11:00 a.m. Police say a mother and her six-year-old son were seriously injured in the crash. WHO-TV reports both were thrown from the vehicle.
Bloomfield Road was reduced to one lane east of SE 14th Street for a couple of hours for clean up of the crash scene.
The DMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
