DES MOINES, Iowa - Several river flood warnings are in effect across the northern third of Iowa, and more storms are expected Thursday nignt.
WHO TV Meteorologist Jeriann Ritter says the worst of it is expected north of I-80 and especially north of Highway 30. There could be high winds, heavy rain, hail, even a chance of tornadoes.
The NOAA National Weather Service Severe Storm Prediction Center puts all of Iowa in the possible path for storms, but the northern half of the state is most likely. See NOAA map below.
