BOONE, Iowa- A Florida man's in custody in central Iowa, accused of installing a credit card skimmer at a Boone gas station.
Boone Police say a witness told them they saw someone installing a skimming device at a gas pump Friday.
Police found the device, shared the suspect's license plate number with law enforcement.
Story County Sheriff's deputies stopped the suspect at I-35 and Highway 30. Twenty-nine-year-old Dunier Garcia Perez of Hialeah, Florida was taken into custody and has been charged with identity theft.
He is being held in the Boone County Jail.
