DES MOINES, Iowa- The first frost of the season is expected late tonight into tomorrow (Saturday) morning across across northern Iowa.
A Frost Advisory is now in effect for portions of northern Iowa, generally along and north of Highway 20 to the Minnesota border.
Low temperatures look to drop into the lower to middle 30s by late tonight and frost is likely to develop prior to sunrise Saturday morning. Temperatures further south are likely to remain in the upper 30s to lower 40s. High temperatures on Saturday are forecast to remain in the 50s with increasing cloud cover and chances of showers through the day.
