CLIVE, Iowa - Three Iowans have won $10,000 each after buying a ticket for Mega MIllions

Iowa Lottery says two of the tickets were sold in Ames and one was sold in Marion. The Marion location was a the Kum & Go on Seventh Avenue.

A $1 million prize hasn't been claimed yet at the Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive. That ticket was sold at a Hy-Vee in Davenport.

The Iowa Lottery says Hy-Vee will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the $1 million winning ticket at one of its stores. 

People in Iowa bought a total of 106,564 plays for the drawing last night, with prizes ranging from $2 to $1 million. A total of 106,000 prizes were won in Iowa.

The jackpot ticket for Mega Millions was sold in South Carolina, where a person yet to be identified won $1.54 billion annuity, or $877.8 million lump-sum option.
