DES MOINES, Iowa - Saturday will likely be the warmest day all week, with weather turning windy and cooler for Sunday.
SATURDAY: Clouds will move out and the sunny sky and light southwest wind will boost highs into the middle 60s in Des Moines and Ames in Central Iowa, and the low 60s in Cedar Rapids in Eastern Iowa.
SUNDAY: The Saturday warm up will be short-lived as a strong cold front moves through on Sunday and brings a big push of colder air. Highs will be in the 50s, but with a NW wind at 30-40 mph, and higher gusts possible, it will feel much colder throughout the afternoon.
MONDAY: The weather will rebound for the beginning of the work week with Sunshine and highs into the lower 60s.
HALLOWEEN FORECAST: Beggars’ Night looks dry with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s across Central and Eastern Iowa.
