DES MOINES, Iowa - Police say a man was shot in a home invasion just before 5:00 Wednesday morning in the 13-hundred block of Hutton, on Des Moines' east side.
A woman who lives at the house tells police three armed men kicked in the door, shot her boyfriend, and stole her car.
The man is expected to survive.
Sergeant Paul Parizek tells WHO Channel 13 the stolen car is a red Toyota Camry.
