Election to be a nail-biter in Iowa

This year's general election looks to be a nail biter.  Close polls and high early voter turnout are the factors experts are watching.

Democratic activist Jerry Crawford tells WHO Channel 13's Dave Price that getting people to the polls is the big thing when margins are as close as they are in the polls.

Speaking of polls, former Iowa Republican Party chairman Mike Mahaffey says poll numbers show the governor's race and others are tightening.

The latest poll, the Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll shows it's a virtual dead heat between the two candidates.  Hubbell's ahead two points, but that's within the poll's margin of error.
