It's about to feel like winter in Iowa!

Iowa's about to get its first really measurable snowfall of the season Thursday evening.

The National Weather Service says we should see rain and snow Thursday night, then by Friday it will change to all snow.  Up to 2 inches of snow is expected on the ground.

Temperatures will start to drop Thursday night...with the high temperature Friday and Saturday expected to be several degrees below freezing.

It will warm up on Sunday, Veterans Day, though...but not much.  High temperatures will be in the 40s.
