DES MOINES, Iowa - Traffic was backed up for miles Sunday in heavy snow after a bus lost control and blocked both lanes of southbound Interstate 35 in Southern Iowa.
Traffic was crawling or at a standstill.
In Eastern Iowa Interstate 80 was slow from Iowa City to the Davenport area on the Eastern state line.
In Southwestern Iowa, I-29 was also shut down from about the Council Bluffs/Omaha area to the south state line.
