URBANDALE, Iowa- An Urbandale driver has been cited in a fatal car vs pedestrian case last week. Fifty-eight-year-old Jean Davis has been issued a citation for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian Right of Way, resulting in death.
Police say Davis struck 62-year-old Dawn Ipson in an intersection near Urbandale High School last Thursday morning. Ipson died at a Des Moines hospital.
Ipson was a long time Urbandale School District nutrition services employee. Memorials can dropped off at Urbandale High School, care of the nutrition department.
