DES MOINES, Iowa-- There was as sharp increase in passengers in the month of November at Des Moines International Airport. More people flew this November than they did last.

Travelers, like Gina Brown, dealt with longer lines and waiting times, which are new experiences to many.

“Yes, I see more lines and stuff, a lot more people traveling, we made sure to get our tickets early," Brown said.

Airport officials says more people traveling is a trend.
