MUSCATINE, Iowa -- A Muscatine teenager is accused of stabbing his grandmother to death on her birthday.
Nineteen year-old Darian Lensgraf is charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.
Police were called after Lensgraf was spotted in a convenience store carrying a knife. When officers approached him, they say he admitted to stabbing 66-year-old Diana Lensgraf.
Police are still trying to figure out the motive.
Lensgraf is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Dec. 21.
