GREEN BAY, Wisconsin- Former Iowa State University football standout Allen Lazard has signed to play for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.
Lazard was a top recruit from Urbandale High School, where he was named a 2013 USA Today High School All-American.He was chosen to the First team All-Big 12 in both 2016 and 2017, and holds the record at Iowa state for receptions and receiving yards.
Lazard signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2018, but was waived in September, and was on the team's practice squad. The Green Bay Packers signed Lazard Wednesday, December 18th, 2018.
