Father Pleads Guilty in Adoptive Daughter’s Death

DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa - The adoptive parent of 16-year-old Sabrina Ray has pleaded guilty in her murder case. 

Marc Ray's guilty plea in Dallas County sets the stage for sentencing on January 11th. Ray pleaded guilty to four felony charges, which include Child Endangerment Resulting in Death and Kidnapping in the Third Degree. 

In addition, Marc Ray was charged with sexual abuse for allegedly abusing one of the children in the home. 

Sabrina’s body was found in the family’s Perry home in May of 2017. 

Three other family members were charged in connection with abusing Sabrina. Two are already serving prison time and another remains in jail.
