CORALVILLE, Iowa - Shoppers inside the Dillard's department store at Coral Ridge Mall were evacuated after a minivan slammed through the wall, sending a thick cloud of dust inside.
Police were called at 7:00 Saturday night, and say they found the van had punched through the exterior wall of the store at 1411 Coral Ridige Drive in Coralville, near Iowa City in eastern Iowa
Officers believe the driver suffered a medical issue that led to the accidental crash during one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
Though it was one of the busiest shopping days of the year, police say no one was seriously hurt.
Shoppers were instructed to leave the store.
