IOWA CITY, Iowa - A Coralville woman has been arrested and charged after police say she left two toddlers and a baby home alone while she went to pick up her boyfriend.

According to court records, police say the five-year-old called 911 because she needed help playing YouTube.

Investigators say the children, ages 5, 3, and 1 were left alone for about 40 minutes on December 13, at about 10:00 p.m.

While officers were still at the home checking on the children they say the mother, 23-year-old Natalie  Kahl arrived back.

According to documents filed in Johnson County Court, WHO Radio News reports police say Kahl admitted that if there were an emergency her children would not be able to take care of themselves.

Kahl is charged with several counts of child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
