KNOXVILLE, Iowa- Knoxville Police say they've interviewed a person of interest in fatal stabbing.
Forty-six-year-old Monte C. Brown was found Friday, suffering from an apparent stab wound before 9 o'clock Friday, in the 100 block of South 2nd Street. He was taken to the hospital in Knoxville, where he died.
Police say there's no reason to believe there's any danger to the community, but as of yet, no charges have been filed in the case.
Autopsy results are expected next month.
