DES MOINES, Iowa- An SUV slammed into a south Des Moines business this (Monday) afternoon, hitting the door and creating a larger entrance to the B & B Market at SE 6th and Hartford.
Michael Collier tells WHO Radio News he was one of several people in the market at the time, picking up orders for Christmas dinner, when he heard a loud noise, around 2 o'clock.
He says at first he thought it was a bad accident outside on the street, but then quickly realized the SUV had hit the building.
No one inside the market was injured. The driver of the SUV apparently had a medical issue but is okay.
