Police Looking For Escaped Work Release Inmate

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police in Cedar Rapids are looking for an inmate who went to work on December 21, but didn't return to jail. 

Police say Darius Elember Davison was due back at the Larry A. Nelson Residential Center that night, and police are asking the public for help.

Davison was convicted of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and carrying weapons in Johnson County. 

Davison is a 22-year-old black male, around 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 167 pounds.
