ALTOONA, Iowa – Four different fire departments helped put out a fire at the Burger King in Altoona early this morning.
Units were called to the fast food location at 3300 Adventureland Drive at around 3:30 this morning.
The fire was under control by 6 o'clock.
Through traffic on Adventureland Drive is blocked off, but officials are allowing vehicles in and out of the Flying J Travel Plaza, which is across the street from the Burger King.
Fire crews from Altoona, Ankeny, Bondurant and Pleassant Hill all fought the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
