Getting too cute with the marketing?

It's only a discussion meant to move the industry forward, but look at what Andy saw at the grocery store:

Peanut Butter 2

Which is absolutely true, and is critical information for some from a medical perspective.  However, it's also a little mis-leading as it suggests there are certain brands of peanut butter which were produced with peanuts that had been bio-engineered but there are no GMO peanut varieties.  Being certified 'Gluten Free' is a little different as no peanut butter naturally contains gluten, but depending on what is else is made in the plant certain guidelines may not be met.  Confusing to be sure, the question is how much of this is done for marketing purposes only and ends up only hurting the cause in the big picture?
