CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A man is caught on surveillance video stealing donation money from a jar for a baby battling a rare, deadly disease.
The money was for 15 month old Tobin Rockwell of Cedar Rapids, who's battling a rare disease that causes the brain to deteriorate. KCRG-TV 9 reports her doctors have given her less than 10 years to live. Rockwell's parents have been raising money to pay for an experimental gene therapy that insurance doesn't cover.
Elevate Salon and Spa on Edgewood Road in Cedar Rapids recorded the surveillance video that shows a man taking money out of the donation jar for Tobin on Thursday January 3, at 8:30 p.m.
