Road rage over headlights in Des Moines

DES MOINES, Iowa - Des Moines police think that road rage over headlights triggered a shooting early Tuesday night.

Police say neighbors called 911 with reports of shots fired near Cornell Street and East Douglas just before 6:30 p.m.

The victim tells investigators he was driving with his high beams on when the driver of a white SUV stopped, got out, and started shooting at the victim and his car.

Police say the victim wasn't shot but there are bullet holes in the car.
