A 69 year old Des Moines man was killed in a hit-and-run accident on East Madison that police say never got reported.
The body of Charles Michael Childs was discovered Thursday morning at a homeless camp in the 1600 block of East Madison.
Police say they located the potential site of the hit and run, which they believe happened Tuesday and wasn't reported. Tire tracks from that incident are still visible, according to police.
