I was pleased to return to the State Capitol and broadcast LIVE on Monday from the opening day of the legislature courtesy of The Energy Group. I'll return soon, but meanwhile, my visits with legislators yielded A LOT to discuss.
Among the topics you'll hear this session: mental health reform, property tax reform, sports gambling, industrial hemp, sentencing reform along with felon voting rights, the "ag gag" law, workforce development, gun rights in the Iowa Constitution, free speech on college campuses, and the methodology by which we pick judges.
