Checking back in on the pre-harvest marketing plan

As we were discussing on The Big Show with ISU's Steve Johnson, the Fibonacci retracements of $3.86 on March corn and $9.22 on March soybeans seem to be strong points of chart resistance.

His final GrowingOn meeting with Farm Credit Services in Atlantic is postponed until Monday evening, Jan. 28, 6 pm.

The deadline for registering for the Women Marketing Grain Series in Boone is Monday, Jan. 28.  It's a four week course to help understand crop prices and marketing costs, learn more about a variety of marketing tools and developming a marketing plan.  Those classes will meet on Monday evenings in February from 5:30 pm until 9 pm on the Boone DMACC campus and you can register here.

Both Steve & Ray Jenkins with ISU Extension will be conducting public meetings in Central Iowa to discuss Crop Marketing, Crop Insurance & the New Farm Bill in mid-February.

A Farmland Owners Workshop will be held in Altoona on Friday, Feb. 15. Topics include: Iowa Land Values, Chinese Trade War, Legal & Tax Update for Landowners and New Farm Bill Update.
