CLAY COUTY, Iowa- The Iowa DNR says an Iowa man, who was coyote hunting with a large group in northwest Iowa's Clay County yesterday (Sunday) was hit by a round and died at the hospital. Rescue crews were called to a rural area southwest of Spencer, at 11:15 a.m.
Authorities say it's believed the hunter's injury was caused by another member of his hunting party. The hunter who died has been identified as 47-year-old Kirk Struve of Granville, Iowa.
